We pride ourselves on offering high-quality hospitality and creating memorable experiences for our members and guests. Our food is a key part of this experience, and we are looking for a talented and passionate Chef to join our team.

Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Chef to join our team at The Rolls of Monmouth Golf Club. In this role, you will work under our head chef and be responsible for preparing and delivering high-quality meals for our members and guests, ensuring the highest standards of food preparation, presentation, and hygiene. You will be part of a dedicated team, assisting in planning and the smooth running of the kitchen during service.

We are excited to have moved to our grade II* Mansion and working to expand the catering side of the business. If you have a passion for cooking, take pride in your craft, and thrive in a busy environment, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cook high-quality meals on a daily basis for our customers.
Maintain high standards of food presentation and portion control.
Work efficiently under pressure during peak service times to deliver exceptional food.
Ensure the kitchen is kept clean and organised, adhering to health and safety and food hygiene regulations.
Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth service and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Proven experience in a similar environment.
Strong culinary skills and a passion for high-quality food preparation.
Knowledge of food safety standards and health and hygiene regulations.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage time effectively.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
A flexible attitude to working hours, as it will include some evenings and weekends.
