Job Title: Serviced Accommodation Manager

Pay: £30,000–£35,000 per year, dependent on experience, plus performance bonus Job Type: Full-time, permanent Location: Newport / South Wales

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Serviced Accommodation Manager to take full ownership of our serviced accommodation portfolio, currently 8 properties with plans to expand. We want someone who can hit the ground running — a "plug and play" hire who already understands the serviced accommodation/short-let world and can bring proven systems and standards from day one, rather than learning on the job.

Key Responsibilities

Take full day-to-day ownership of the serviced accommodation portfolio: bookings, guest communications, pricing, and property standards
Manage cleaning, turnover, and maintenance coordination for all properties, working with the maintenance team and cleaner
Optimise occupancy and pricing across platforms (Airbnb, Booking.com, direct bookings, etc.)
Handle guest issues and complaints professionally and swiftly
Onboard new properties into the portfolio as the business expands
Maintain compliance, insurance, and safety standards across all properties
Report regularly to the Managing Director / Operations Manager on performance, occupancy, and portfolio growth opportunities
Build and manage relationships with contractors, cleaners, and suppliers supporting the SA portfolio

Qualifications & Experience

Proven experience managing a serviced accommodation, short-let, or similar hospitality portfolio
Strong understanding of booking platforms, pricing strategy, and guest experience management
Track record of maintaining high property standards across multiple sites
Comfortable managing cleaners, contractors, and suppliers
Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple properties and priorities simultaneously
Full UK driving licence (travel between properties required)
