Full job description

We're looking for a friendly, reliable Front of House & Bar Assistant to join us at The Quirky Bird, an independent coffee and wine bar in the heart of Wareham.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in great customer service, and thrives in a busy but relaxed environment.

From serving coffee, wine and drinks to welcoming customers and keeping the space looking its best, you'll play a key role in creating the experience that keeps people coming back.

The Role

You'll be working primarily evenings and weekends, serving customers, preparing drinks, running food, clearing tables and helping ensure smooth day-to-day service.

No two shifts are the same, so we're looking for someone who can stay organised, work efficiently and bring a positive attitude to the team.

Hours

Primarily evenings and weekends, with flexibility to cover additional shifts when needed.

Pay

Starting from £12.21 per hour, with opportunities for pay reviews based on experience, reliability and performance.

You'll fit in well if you:

Enjoy working with people and providing excellent customer service
Are confident, friendly and approachable
Stay calm when things get busy
Have a good eye for detail and presentation
Are reliable and hardworking
Enjoy being part of a close-knit team

Experience

Previous hospitality, bar or customer service experience is welcome but not essential. We're happy to train the right person with a great attitude and willingness to learn.
