Full job description

Job Overview
We are looking for an energetic, friendly, and customer-focused Bartender to join the team at Zingara. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional service, preparing drinks to a high standard, maintaining a clean and organised bar area, and helping create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to company recipes and standards
Provide friendly, professional, and efficient customer service at all times
Take customer orders accurately and make recommendations where appropriate
Maintain strong product knowledge of cocktails, wines, beers, spirits, and menu items
Ensure the bar area remains clean, organised, and fully stocked throughout service
Carry out opening and closing procedures for the bar
Monitor stock levels and report shortages to management
Assist with stock rotation and inventory checks
Ensure cash handling and card transactions are processed accurately
Follow all licensing, health and safety, hygiene, and responsible alcohol service procedures
Work closely with floor staff and kitchen teams to ensure smooth service
Support in maintaining a lively and positive atmosphere within the venue
Assist with setting up for events, promotions, and busy service periods where required

Requirements

Previous experience as a bartender required
Cocktail knowledge and drink preparation experience advantageous
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Well-presented with a positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail during busy periods

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £12.80-£13.50 per hour

Experience:

customer Service: 1 year (preferred)
Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
Bartenders: 2 years (required)
