About Us:
We are a growing family-led company who have urban farm shops / cafes / butchery's alongside a busy outside catering section in the beautiful Purbecks and at Chesil Beach. We are proud of each of our unique locations and the close relationships we have with our local suppliers. We are provenance and localism at its best - complete tracibility from local farms and fisherman delivered onto plates.

In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your responsibilities will include assisting with food preparation, managing customer orders, and maintaining high standards of food safety. If you have a passion for hospitality and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude.
Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all requests are met.
Assist in food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines.
Make barista coffees.
Manage the dining area by keeping it clean and organised throughout service - clear tables.
Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
Handle cash transactions and perform basic maths for order processing.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages.
Provide assistance to guests as required, addressing any queries or concerns promptly.

Requirements

Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant environment is essential, including barista trained.
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Basic culinary knowledge and understanding of food safety practices are advantageous.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
Ability to work well under pressure in a busy setting.
A positive attitude and willingness to help both customers and team members alike.
MUST be able to drive and have own transport.
