Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, providing excellent customer service, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role offers an opportunity to develop your skills within a dynamic environment, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred, along with a passion for hospitality and service excellence. The position is paid and suitable for individuals who thrive in fast-paced settings and possess strong organisational skills.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and presentation standards
Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and deliver prompt service to ensure customer satisfaction
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and bar equipment
Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations at all times
Manage cash transactions efficiently using the point-of-sale system and handle payments accurately
Monitor guest behaviour to promote responsible drinking and adhere to licensing laws
Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
Collaborate with team members to create a lively, welcoming environment that encourages repeat visits

Skills

Proven experience in hospitality or food service roles, particularly in bars or restaurants
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
Excellent serving skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers
Good organisational skills to manage multiple orders efficiently during busy periods
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately
Effective time management to prioritise tasks and maintain high service standards under pressure
Ability to work well within a team, demonstrating flexibility and professionalism at all times
