About the business
iStock Kitchen is an independent, founder-led product brand specialising in innovative accessories for air fryers.
We are not a generic reseller or a standard white label Amazon business. Our products are developed and designed in house to solve specific problems with air fryer. This includes creating original product concepts, refining dimensions and functionality, developing moulds, testing samples and working directly with manufacturers to bring uniquely designed products to market.
The business has sold more than 75,000 units over the past three years and generated over £1.3 million in sales. We now have a growing catalogue of more than 60 products and listings, with the majority of sales currently coming through Amazon UK.
The company has been built from the ground up by its founder and is moving from a successful UK Amazon business into a broader international consumer brand. We have already expanded into Germany and are preparing to launch and grow properly across France and Spain within the next few weeks, with further European expansion planned.
As our catalogue and number of marketplaces continue to grow, I am looking for a highly experienced Amazon Marketplace Account Manager who can take ownership of the technical and operational side of managing our Amazon accounts across multiple countries.
This is not a junior position, nor is it a role within a high-volume catalogue of generic products. The person joining will be working with a carefully developed product range, established listings and a brand with long-term ambitions. I need someone who understands Amazon Seller Central in depth and can confidently identify, investigate and resolve complex listing, inventory and marketplace issues without requiring extensive training.
The role
Your initial priority will be helping us properly establish, organise and optimise our Amazon Germany operation.
You will also support the upcoming launch into France and Spain, alongside the ongoing management of our UK account and wider European expansion.
The role will involve a mixture of listing management, listing new products, technical troubleshooting, catalogue organisation, inventory visibility, international fulfilment setup and general Seller Central account support.
A particularly important part of the role will be understanding how Amazon inventory and fulfilment work across individual European countries.
You must be able to distinguish between:
- Stock fulfilled internationally from the UK
- Stock physically stored within Germany, France, Spain or another EU country
- Inventory available within a specific country or fulfilment network
- Pan-European FBA
- European Fulfilment Network
- Remote Fulfilment
- Local in-country FBA storage
- Cross-border inventory movements within Europe
You will work directly with the founder for an agreed number of hours each week. I am looking for someone who can become a trusted, long-term part of the business and take on greater responsibility as the company continues to grow.
Key responsibilities
- Set up, improve and maintain product listings across Amazon UK, Germany, France, Spain and other European marketplaces
- Help get our Amazon Germany operation fully established and functioning correctly
- Support the launch and development of our French and Spanish marketplaces
- Create and update listings using Amazon inventory file templates and flat files
- Manage parent-child variations, product relationships and catalogue structures
- Troubleshoot suppressed listings, stranded inventory, listing errors and catalogue conflicts
- Resolve issues involving ASINs, SKUs, EANs, GTINs, product attributes and marketplace-specific requirements
- Review inventory held and available within specific European countries
- Help identify whether stock is stored locally, available through another marketplace or fulfilled cross-border
- Advise on Pan-European FBA, European Fulfilment Network, Remote Fulfilment and local inventory strategies
- Help ensure products are correctly enabled and available for sale in each intended marketplace
- Translate or coordinate the localisation of listings for European marketplaces
- Ensure titles, bullet points, descriptions, search terms and product attributes are correctly populated
- Open, manage and follow up on Seller Support cases until issues are properly resolved
- Monitor account health and identify potential risks before they become serious
- Assist with VAT-related Seller Central setup and international marketplace requirements where relevant
- Maintain clear records of listing changes, technical issues and resolutions
- Recommend improvements to our catalogue structure, Amazon systems and operating processes
- Help create a more organised and scalable system for managing a growing international catalogue
Essential experience
You must have substantial hands-on experience managing Amazon Seller Central accounts across multiple marketplaces.
You should be highly confident with:
- Amazon flat files and inventory file templates
- Fixing variations theme corruptions
- Bulk listing uploads and catalogue updates
- Managing listings across multiple countries
- Amazon Germany and European Seller Central
- Parent-child variations and variation themes
- Creating, correcting, merging and separating catalogue relationships
- Troubleshooting listing errors and catalogue conflicts
- Product feeds, processing reports and Amazon error codes
- ASIN, SKU, EAN, GTIN and product identifier issues
- Seller Support case management
- Account health and policy compliance
- Viewing inventory within individual countries and marketplaces
- Understanding where stock is physically stored
- Pan-European FBA
- European Fulfilment Network
- Remote Fulfilment between the UK and EU
- Local in-country FBA inventory
- Cross-border fulfilment and inventory movement within Europe
Experience managing a substantial catalogue of physical consumer products is strongly preferred.
Experience with VAT registrations, Amazon advertising, Brand Registry, international listing tools and European product compliance would also be beneficial.
The person I am looking for
You will be:
- Highly experienced and technically capable
- Proactive rather than waiting to be given every individual task
- Extremely organised and detail-oriented
- Comfortable investigating complicated Seller Central issues
- Able to explain problems and solutions clearly
- Reliable and available for agreed weekly hours
- Interested in building a long-term working relationship
- Honest about what you do and do not know
- Capable of taking genuine ownership of the Amazon account
- Able to prioritise issues based on their commercial importance
- Comfortable working directly with the founder of a growing business
I am not looking for an agency that will assign the account to a junior employee. I would prefer to work directly with an experienced individual who will personally manage the work.
This role is also not primarily an Amazon PPC position. Advertising experience is useful, but the main priority is advanced Seller Central, catalogue, inventory and international marketplace management.
General virtual assistant experience or basic listing creation experience will not be sufficient for this role.
Why join us?
This is an opportunity to work closely with the founder of an established and growing Amazon business and have a genuine influence over how its European operations are built.
The business already has significant sales, a proven product range and an established UK customer base. The next stage is to build the European side of the business properly and create systems that can support continued international growth.
The right person will have the opportunity to:
- Develop a stable, ongoing part-time role
- Work remotely with flexible hours
- Take ownership of important areas of the business
- Help build our operations across Germany, France, Spain and other European markets
- Shape our systems and processes as the company expands
- Increase their hours and responsibilities as the business grows
- Build a long-term working relationship directly with the founder
