Full job description

ROLE:

Goods In Administrator

Hours/Times:

Monday-Friday

9:00am-18:00pm

Daily unpaid 30-minute break

42.5 Hour Permanent Contract

Salary: £29,000

Job summary – To work within the purchasing/goods in department to process supplier invoices/credits onto the workplace system. To learn and be competent with other purchasing requirements within the office where required.

Key responsibilities and duties

Process invoices from suppliers for goods/services.
Analyse the invoices to see if what we have received matches the quoted price from the supplier.
Contact the warehouse for stock checks/missing paperwork as and when required.
File paperwork and chase for any missing delivery notes and/or invoices required for month end processes.
Maintenance of office filing processes.
Assist with receipting deliveries onto stock.
Assist with raising purchase orders & processing internal stock transfers.
Any other office duties as and when required.

Requirements:

Attention to detail and accuracy essential.
Computer literacy. Experience with Microsoft Office packages desirable.
Good numeracy skills.
Ability to work on own initiative.
Ability to work well within a team.
Ability to self-prioritise and ensure time-critical tasks are completed.
Ability to assist in office monthly procedures to meet potential deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Pay: Up to £29,000.00 per year

Pocklington YO42: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
