Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Builder to join our dynamic construction team. As a Builder, you will play a vital role in bringing construction projects to life by performing a wide range of building tasks with precision and enthusiasm. Your expertise will help ensure that each project is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, develop your skills across multiple trades, and contribute to creating lasting structures that make a difference.

Responsibilities

Execute carpentry tasks including framing, cabinetry, and finish carpentry with attention to detail and quality.
Assist with roofing installation, repairs, and maintenance to ensure durable and weatherproof structures.
Perform construction painting to prepare surfaces and achieve smooth, professional finishes.
Install and repair plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and fittings, adhering to safety standards.
Conduct masonry work such as laying bricks, blocks, or stone for walls and foundations.
Operate welding equipment for metal fabrication and structural reinforcement projects.
Apply electrical experience for basic wiring tasks or assist licensed electricians on complex installations.
Use hand tools and power tools efficiently for various building activities while maintaining safety protocols.
Support fabrication tasks by measuring, cutting, and assembling materials as required for different phases of construction projects.
Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met while maintaining a safe work environment.

Qualifications

Proven experience in carpentry, roofing, masonry, plumbing, welding or related trades preferred.
Knowledge of construction painting techniques and electrical systems is advantageous.
Skilled in the use of hand tools such as hammers, saws, chisels, and screwdrivers.
Proficient with power tools including drills, saws, grinders, and sanders.
Ability to read blueprints or technical drawings is a plus.
Strong understanding of safety procedures on construction sites.
Physical stamina to perform demanding manual labor in various weather conditions.
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
