Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail oriented Administration Assistant to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to support daily office operations, manage administrative tasks, and contribute to the smooth functioning of our organisation. The successful candidate will possess strong computer skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive attitude. This paid position is ideal for individuals looking to develop their administrative experience within a professional environment.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive administrative support
Manage incoming calls with professional phone etiquette and direct enquiries appropriately
Organise and maintain filing systems, both physical and digital, ensuring easy retrieval of documents
Assist with data entry tasks using programmes such as Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and Bright HR
Prepare reports, correspondence, and presentations as required
Schedule appointments, meetings, and coordinate calendars efficiently
Handle general clerical duties including photocopying, scanning, and mailing
Maintain a tidy and organised workspace to promote efficiency

Requirements

Proven office experience or administrative background is preferred
Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace applications
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Good typing speed and accuracy for data entry tasks
Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly via phone and email with professionalism and courtesy
Attention to detail and organisational skills are essential for managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously
Previous clerical experience will be considered an asset
