The Role

This is a unique, entry‑level opportunity for an experienced administrator to join one of the top firms in Lancashire as a File Opener. You will gain exposure to both junior and senior lawyers across the business, learning their working practices and gaining valuable insight into how a modern law firm operates.

Key responsibilities will include:

Assisting with the collection and verification of client ID documentation and uploading it to the case management system in line with firm procedures
Carrying out compliance and due diligence checks in accordance with company policies
Ensuring all required information is accurately and fully entered into the case management system
Updating case records as new information is received
Liaising with relevant departments to support matter progression
Supporting the New Business and Client Data Management Teams with the development and implementation of improved file‑opening processes
Liaising with third parties regarding transaction or matter details where appropriate

Experience Required

We are seeking an efficient, well‑organised administrator with a proactive approach to their work
You should be confident communicating with colleagues and clients, both face‑to‑face and over the telephone
Strong IT skills with the ability to work comfortably with a range of systems and software are preferred
