About the Position

We're looking for a motivated and reliable Production Operative to join our Manufacturing team. This is a hands-on role where you'll be involved in assembling, inspecting and packaging high-quality medical devices while ensuring products meet our exacting quality standards.

Depending on business requirements, you may work across different production areas, including controlled manufacturing environments, so flexibility and a strong attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities

Assemble products and components in line with approved procedures and work instructions.
Inspect completed products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
Label, package and prepare products for dispatch, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and maintained in line with company procedures.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, housekeeping and safety, following Health & Safety legislation, company SOPs and Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.
Operate production equipment safely and efficiently, carrying out routine checks where required.
Identify and report any quality, equipment or process issues promptly to a Manufacturing Supervisor.
Contribute ideas to improve processes, increase efficiency and reduce waste.
Support the training and development of new and existing team members where appropriate.
Undertake other reasonable duties as required to support the Manufacturing team.r.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate:

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
The ability to work effectively under pressure
Has excellent attention to detail and takes pride in producing high-quality work.
Can follow written procedures and work accurately to established standards.
Is comfortable working in a manufacturing environment and adapting to different production areas.
Works well as part of a team but can also use their own initiative.
Has a positive attitude and a willingness to learn new skills.
Is committed to maintaining high standards of quality, safety and housekeeping.
