Overview

We are seeking EXPERIENCED enthusiastic and reliable Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a lively hospitality environment, providing excellent service to our patrons. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering memorable customer experiences and possess a friendly, professional demeanour. All roles are paid positions, offering valuable experience within the hospitality sector. Cocktail experience would be preferred

Duties

Serve drinks efficiently and responsibly to customers at the bar
Take orders accurately and ensure timely delivery of beverages
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards
Check identification to verify legal drinking age
Handle cash and process payments accurately using the till system
Restock bar supplies and monitor stock levels regularly
Engage with customers in a friendly manner, creating a welcoming atmosphere
Follow health and safety procedures diligently, including food safety protocols
Assist with setting up and clearing tables when necessary
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods

Skills

Proven bar experience in hospitality or similar service roles is ESSENTIAL
Knowledge of health and safety standards and responsible serving practices
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable manner
Ability to perform basic maths accurately for cash handling and change provision
Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Good time management skills, especially during peak hours
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Previous bar experience is essential; cocktail training will be provided for suitable candidates
Personal presentation should be neat and professional at all times
