Overview

Join our dynamic team as an Assistant Restaurant Manager and become a vital part of delivering exceptional dining experiences! In this energetic role, you will support the restaurant’s daily operations, oversee team performance, and ensure that every guest leaves satisfied. Your leadership will inspire a motivated team, uphold food safety standards, and maintain a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your culinary and hospitality skills while making a positive impact on our guests’ experiences.

Responsibilities

Assist the Restaurant Manager in supervising daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth service flow
Lead and motivate team members, including servers, cooks, bartenders, and support staff, to deliver top-quality service
Oversee food preparation and food production processes, ensuring consistency and adherence to safety standards
Support kitchen staff with cooking and food safety practices to maintain high-quality culinary standards
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper handling of food at all times
Manage guest interactions by addressing concerns promptly and professionally to enhance satisfaction
Coordinate with the team to ensure efficient serving, bar service, and timely delivery of orders
Assist in training new staff members on hospitality best practices, food safety protocols, and company policies
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas to meet health regulations
Support inventory management for food supplies and kitchen equipment maintenance

Experience

Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment
Extensive restaurant experience with a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and serving roles
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively in fast-paced settings
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices for culinary operations
Experience working in hotel or barista roles is a plus but not required
Familiarity with hospitality principles, including customer service excellence and team management skills
Prior experience with kitchen operations, food production, or culinary tasks is highly desirable
