Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Your role will involve not only preparing drinks but also ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our customers.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including equipment and utensils.
Assist with food preparation, ensuring adherence to food safety guidelines.
Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, demonstrating basic maths skills.
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and a positive working environment.

Requirements

Previous experience in a café or food service environment is essential.
Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing orders.
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety practices is advantageous.
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy setting.
A friendly disposition with excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
