Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front of House Team Member to join our vibrant restaurant team. This role is pivotal in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while ensuring exceptional service standards. As a Front of House Team Member, you will be responsible for assisting customers, managing orders, and supporting the kitchen team to deliver a delightful dining experience.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional demeanour.
Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all details are captured.
Assist with food preparation and presentation as needed, adhering to food safety standards.
Manage the dining area by ensuring cleanliness and organisation at all times.
Support upselling initiatives by recommending menu items and specials to enhance guest experience.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and address any customer inquiries or concerns.
Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and culinary techniques to assist guests effectively.
Demonstrate excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks during busy periods.

Skills

Strong hospitality skills with a passion for providing excellent customer service.
Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing orders accurately.
Experience in food preparation or culinary settings is advantageous but not essential.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
Effective communication skills to interact with guests and team members positively.
Time management abilities to prioritise tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
