Part-Time Office Administrator

Location: Fully in Office - Dartford, Kent (DA2)
Hours: Flexible Part-Time, 24 hours per week.

Applicants can work either 3 days per week, 9:00am to 5:00pm, or 24 weekly hours spread across 5 days per week.

The Role

We are looking for a reliable and organised Part-Time Office Administrator to support the day-to-day operations of our busy office in Dartford.

This role would suit someone with previous administration experience who enjoys working in a varied position and takes pride in producing accurate work. Whilst training will be provided, we are looking for someone who already has a solid administrative background and is confident using Microsoft 365 applications.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in both office administration and basic accounts administration (managing invoices and maintaining records in Xero). Most importantly, you will be highly organised, possess exceptional attention to detail, and be able to manage your workload effectively within a busy and supportive office environment.

Key Responsibilities

Providing general administrative support across the business
Managing incoming calls, emails and correspondence
Preparing and formatting documents, reports and spreadsheets
Data entry and updating company records
Ordering office supplies and assisting with office organisation
Supporting project teams with administrative tasks
Processing supplier invoices and maintaining accurate financial records
Monitoring due payments and assisting with credit control activities
Working with accounting software, including Xero, to maintain financial information
Liaising with suppliers and customers regarding invoice queries
Supporting management with ad hoc administrative duties

Essential Requirements

Previous office administration experience
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Word and Excel
Previous experience with accounts administration
Experience using accounting software, preferably Xero
Understanding of invoices, purchase orders and payment processing
Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Strong time management and organisational skills
Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
