We're Hiring – Sous Chef | Tophs

You might already know us from @Lunch and @Tophskis...

Now we're building a passionate kitchen team from the ground up at Tophs, and we're looking for an experienced Sous Chef to help lead our kitchen.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a brand-new venture, working alongside the Head Chef to build a strong, positive kitchen culture and deliver exceptional food from day one.

What We're Looking For

Previous experience as a Sous Chef, or an experienced Chef de Partie ready to take the next step.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
The ability to lead by example and motivate a team in a fast-paced kitchen.
A passion for producing high-quality food with consistency.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
A calm, professional approach under pressure.
Availability to work evenings and weekends.
Food Safety qualifications are desirable.

Your Responsibilities

Support the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen.
Lead and motivate the kitchen team, ensuring high standards are maintained at all times.
Prepare, cook, and present dishes to a consistently high standard.
Ensure food hygiene, health and safety procedures, and kitchen cleanliness are always maintained.
Assist with stock ordering, stock control, and minimising waste.
Help train, develop, and support junior members of the team.
Step into the Head Chef's role when required, ensuring smooth kitchen operations.
Work closely with the front-of-house team to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
