Full time Dental Receptionist (41.25 hours per week)

(Hours are 8:15am - 5:30pm Monday to Friday)

Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organised Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing the administrative tasks that keep our office running smoothly. This role requires a proactive individual with strong communication skills and a keen attention to detail.

Duties

Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist them with check-in procedures.
Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and reminders efficiently.
Handle incoming calls and respond to patient enquiries in a professional manner.
Maintain patient records accurately and ensure confidentiality at all times.
Process patient payments
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless patient flow and care coordination.
Assist with administrative tasks
Ensure the reception area is tidy, welcoming, and well-organised for patients.
Learn and understand the services the practice provides and be able to discuss them confidently with patients.
Learn and understand our Membership plan and be able to discuss it with patients.
Working closely with the management team to ensure smooth running of the practice

Qualifications

Previous experience in a dental practice, administrative or office role is preferred.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in using office software and dental management systems is an advantage.
A friendly disposition with a commitment to providing outstanding patient care.
Ability to work well within a team as well as independently when required.
