Job Overview

MUST KNOW LATTE ARTBarista to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating high-quality beverages in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop specialised skills within the hospitality industry, working in a welcoming setting that values professionalism and enthusiasm. Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout all aspects of food and drink preparation.
Take customer orders efficiently and accurately, providing friendly and attentive service.
Handle cash transactions and operate the till with precision, ensuring correct change is given.
Restock supplies as needed, including coffee beans, milk, cups, and other ingredients or disposables.
Keep the work area clean and organised, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
Engage with customers in a welcoming manner, fostering a positive atmosphere within the café.
Assist with food preparation tasks when required, supporting overall operational efficiency.

Skills

Previous barista experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
Knowledge of food safety standards to ensure hygienic practices are maintained at all times.
Experience in serving customers with professionalism and courtesy.
Ability to perform basic food preparation tasks efficiently.
Strong time management skills to handle busy periods calmly while maintaining quality service.
Good basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
Excellent communication skills with a friendly attitude that enhances customer satisfaction.
