Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and professional Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our organization. In this vital role, you will manage front desk operations, handle incoming calls, and provide exceptional administrative support to ensure smooth daily functions. Your positive attitude and organizational skills will help create a friendly, efficient environment for visitors, clients, and team members alike. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your administrative expertise while contributing to a dynamic workplace. We are looking for an individual who has worked in a GP setting before and is familiar with Emis.

Duties

Greet visitors and clients warmly, directing them appropriately and ensuring a positive first impression
Answer and route all incoming phone calls with professionalism and courtesy, maintaining excellent phone etiquette
Manage front desk activities including scheduling appointments, handling mail, and maintaining visitor logs
Perform data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office applications
Maintain organized records of office supplies, appointments, and correspondence to support daily operations
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and preparing documents for meetings or reports
Support other clerical functions to streamline office workflows and enhance overall efficiency

Skills

Proven office experience with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Microsoft Teams and Emis
Excellent phone etiquette with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in all interactions
Demonstrated administrative experience with data entry accuracy and clerical support capabilities
Strong typing skills to handle correspondence and documentation swiftly and accurately
Familiarity with office equipment such as printers, scanners, and telephones
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a friendly demeanor
