Job description
The City of Lincoln Council are looking to appoint a Contract Support Officer to join our Maintenance Team based at Hamilton House on a permanent basis. At the City of Lincoln Council, we pride ourselves on providing sustainable homes for our residents. We own and manage more than 7,700 properties within the City of Lincoln, carrying out over 32,000 repairs every year.

The successful candidate’s duties will involve assisting the Service Manager in the delivery of the Council's Housing Repairs Service, as well as providing technical support to the Maintenance Manager and other officers of the service.

Proficient use of computerised systems is essential, including data input and analysis using both proprietary systems and Microsoft Office. You should possess excellent customer care, presentation and communication skills. The role also requires effective organisational skills to meet challenging deadlines and interactive attendance at meetings with colleagues, tenants and Members.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

Ability to support the development of new and creative approaches to service delivery.
Ability to communicate with a wide range of people and organisations.
Ability to be structured, logical and objective in approach to work and decision making.
Awareness of issues relating to premises management including controlling of resources.
Ability to transport oneself around the city.
GCSE Maths and English grades A-C or equivalent.
