Full job description

Adam Hatten Catering is looking to employ a Chef to join our team at Okehampton Golf Club. This can be a full or part time position depending on the candidate but, weekend hours are essential.

Your role will consist of preparing food in a busy kitchen and, on occasion, assisting in the bar. Full training will be provided.

Experience Required:

ESSENTIAL
* Chef/ Catering
* A good knowledge of British and world foods.
* Ability to take instruction
* A good standard of personal hygiene and self-presentation
* Experience in customer service
* Hard working approach, a commitment to learn and good attention to detail.
* Accuracy and speed in executing tasks in a cheerful manner even when under pressure.
* Able to work effectively as part of a team and proactively help other team members.
* Able to cope with a busy and demanding environment.
* Flexibility to work a varied shift pattern when required but, weekend work will be essential.

PREFERABLE (although training can be arranged)
* An up to date food hygiene certificate.

Good Rate of pay – this will vary upon experience. Hours to be discussed at interview.

Ongoing training will be given.
