Full job description

Stores and Warehouse operator

Rota Limited is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of position, tank and rotational sensors and electrical connectors. Exporting 90% of our production worldwide we supply the world market machinery leaders in the Automotive, Military, Construction, Agricultural, Oil and Gas and Industrial markets.

We're looking for a motivated and organized Stores and Warehouse operator to join our team.

Whether you're looking to build on existing stores and warehouse experience or take the next step in your career, we'll provide the training and support you need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities of the role:

- Receiving, checking and putting away incoming stock.

- Picking and preparing works orders accurately for production and despatch.

- Maintaining a clean, safe and well organized stores area.

- Carrying out general administration and data entry.

- Preparing documentation and assisting with stock control.

- Driving the company vehicle to second site and local suppliers.

- Providing helpful, friendly service to internal departments.

- Supporting colleagues with other duties when required.

About You – we are looking for someone who has:

- Previous experience within warehouse/stores environment.

- A full valid UK driving licence.

- A reliable and responsible approach to stock control and accuracy.

- Good organisational and administrative skills.

- Good computer skills and attention to detail.

- A positive, flexible and practical attitude.

- Good communication skills.

- The ability to commute reliably to other departments.

- The ability to work independently and as part of a small team.

- Manual handling will be required as a daily activity.

- Able to work overtime when required.
