Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Builder to join our team, responsible for constructing and assembling various structures and components. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of building techniques and materials, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. This role requires proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

Assemble and fabricate structures according to specifications and blueprints.
Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
Perform heavy lifting as required for various building tasks.
Carry out painting, plumb, masonry, and joinery tasks as part of the construction process.
Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure project completion on time.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Inspect completed work for quality assurance and compliance with standards.

Requirements

Proven experience in building or construction roles is preferred.
Proficiency in using both hand tools and power tools is essential.
Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) regularly throughout the day.
Familiarity with masonry, carpentry, and joinery techniques is advantageous.
Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
