Are you an experienced operations professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys taking ownership of complex event delivery?

Nipperbout is a unique and growing event childcare company delivering high-quality childcare services at conferences, exhibitions, festivals, fun days and live events across the UK and Europe.

We are looking for an experienced Event Operations Lead to join our Head Office team in a key operational role, coordinating and delivering exceptional event childcare experiences for children and young people aged 0–17 years.

This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems, managing multiple moving parts and being trusted to make things happen. The role offers significant autonomy, close collaboration with company directors and the opportunity to grow within an expanding business.

You’ll be trusted to manage your own workload, prioritise competing demands and make confident operational decisions in a fast-moving environment.

This is a full-time, office-based role (37.5 hours per week), primarily Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm. Some onsite event attendance will be required, including occasional weekends.

Salary: £32,000–£35,000 per annum depending on experience.
Additional hours can be compensated financially or through time off in lieu.

About the Role

Working closely with the Operations Director and wider Head Office team, you will play an integral role in the operational delivery of events throughout the UK and Europe.

You will be responsible for coordinating logistics, maintaining operational standards, building strong relationships with venues and suppliers, and ensuring events are fully prepared for successful delivery.

No two days are the same, and the role suits someone who is highly organised, proactive and confident managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinating event logistics, including staffing, travel and accommodation
Managing operational planning to ensure events are delivered smoothly and to a high standard
Building strong working relationships with venues, suppliers and event contacts
Producing and maintaining operational documentation including risk assessments, crew briefings, method statements, equipment lists and event layouts
Maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail across all areas of event planning and delivery
Supporting operational readiness, stock management and company systems
Managing operational communications professionally and efficiently
Attending site visits and supporting onsite event delivery where required

What We’re Looking For

Exceptional organisational and planning skills
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Confidence working independently and taking ownership of responsibilities
Ability to remain calm, proactive and solutions-focused under pressure
Experience managing multiple projects and competing priorities
Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office and Excel
A flexible and adaptable approach within a constantly changing environment
A positive attitude and a good sense of humour

Applicants must have previous experience within event operations, logistics or project coordination.

This role is based in our rural office near Buckingham, where three friendly labradoodles are also part of the team.
