Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Painter and decorator to join our team. This role involves applying paint and finishes to various surfaces, ensuring high-quality workmanship while maintaining safety standards. The successful candidate will work closely with clients and team members to deliver excellent results on diverse projects, ranging from construction painting to specialised finishes. This position offers an opportunity to develop your skills within a professional environment, contributing to the realisation of our clients’ visions.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming prior to painting
Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
Ensure colour matching and finish consistency according to project specifications
Maintain a clean and organised work area, including safely disposing of waste materials
Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project progress and requirements
Follow health and safety regulations at all times during work activities
Assist with other construction painting tasks as required, supporting overall project completion

Skills

Proven experience in construction painting or related trades is preferred
Valid driving licence prefered for transportation between sites and materials delivery
Fluency in English with excellent communication skills for liaising with clients and colleagues
Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce precise and high-quality finishes
Good organisational skills to manage time effectively across multiple projects
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of health and safety standards relevant to painting and construction environments
