About Smartfits

Working with industry-leading technologies including Geotab, Mantis, Prolius and other connected fleet solutions, we pride ourselves on delivering outstanding customer service from project planning through to ongoing technical support.

As our business continues to grow, we’re looking for a motivated and technically minded Technical Support & Customer Success Coordinator to join our Operations team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys technology, problem solving and building strong customer relationships. Full product training will be provided, giving you the opportunity to develop your technical knowledge and progress as the company continues to grow.

The Role

Your primary responsibility will be providing technical support to both our customers and internal teams, ensuring issues are investigated, managed and resolved efficiently.

You’ll become an expert in the systems and technologies we support, helping customers get the very best from their solutions.

You’ll also support our Customer Success team with customer onboarding and project administration when required, including providing holiday cover for the team.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Support

Providing first-line technical support to customers via telephone and email.
Investigating and diagnosing customer issues.
Troubleshooting fleet management and telematics systems.
Managing support tickets through to resolution.
Liaising with suppliers where technical assistance is required.
Raising engineer jobs and arranging appointments where necessary.
Monitoring customer accounts and identifying recurring issues.
Producing reports and assisting customers with system queries.
Learning and maintaining knowledge across multiple technology platforms.

Customer Success Support

When required, you’ll also support our Customer Success function by:

Assisting with onboarding new customers.
Setting up customer accounts, user permissions and system configuration.
Configuring customer reports and databases.
Supporting customer training sessions.
Scheduling project meetings and customer calls.
Providing holiday and absence cover for the Customer Success team to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Project & Administration

Supporting project rollouts from initial setup through to completion.
Keeping customer records accurate and up to date.
Working closely with our Operations, Installations and Engineering teams.
Identifying opportunities to improve customer experience and internal processes.

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

Has excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Enjoys learning new technologies and systems.
Has strong computer and IT skills.
Can confidently investigate issues and think logically.
Has excellent attention to detail.
Is organised and able to manage multiple priorities.
Has excellent communication and customer service skills.
Enjoys helping customers and building positive relationships.
Is proactive and takes ownership of their work.
Works well independently and as part of a team.

Previous experience within technical support, customer success, IT support, fleet management or telematics would be advantageous but isn’t essential. We are looking for someone with the right attitude, a willingness to learn and a genuine passion for solving problems.

What Success Looks Like

Within your first six months, we’d expect you to:

Develop a strong understanding of our products and services.
Confidently support customers with technical queries.
Successfully manage support cases from start to finish.
Assist with onboarding new customers and supporting customer projects.
Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and colleagues.
Become a trusted member of the Operations team and a reliable point of contact for both customers and internal teams.
