Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, extensive culinary experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional food and service. As a key member of our kitchen management, you will oversee daily operations, supervise kitchen staff, and ensure the highest standards of food safety and quality are maintained. Duties

Planning and preparing menus that meet quality standards and customer expectations
Supervise and manage kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management
Oversee food production processes to ensure consistency, presentation, and adherence to recipes
Ensure all food safety regulations are followed meticulously across the kitchen
Coordinate with front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service delivery
Monitor stock levels and order supplies as needed to maintain efficient kitchen operations
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen environment at all times
Support in developing new dishes and innovative culinary ideas to enhance menu offerings
Assist in managing kitchen budgets and controlling food costs

Qualifications

Proven supervising experience within a professional kitchen environment
Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, and food production
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively
Solid understanding of food safety standards and regulations
Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is highly desirable
Excellent organisational skills with an eye for detail in food presentation and quality control
Knowledge of current culinary trends and techniques
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications are preferred
