Home Assistant / Care Assistant (Female Drivers ONLY)

About the Role

As a Home Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting clients with their day-to-day needs while providing companionship, reassurance, and practical assistance. You will help create a safe, comfortable, and positive environment for those in your care.

This role is ideal for someone who is patient, attentive, and genuinely passionate about delivering person-centred care.

Key Responsibilities

Supporting clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
Assisting with daily routines and ensuring care plans are followed appropriately
Providing companionship and emotional support through meaningful interaction
Helping with household duties such as meal preparation, light cleaning, and laundry
Supporting clients with medication prompts where required
Driving clients to appointments, errands, or social activities where needed
Monitoring client wellbeing and reporting any changes or concerns
Maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with families and healthcare professionals

Experience & Requirements

Previous experience in home care or a care setting is highly desirable but not required
A caring and empathetic nature is essential
Good written and spoken English
Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication
A valid UK driving licence is preferred
Female drivers are preferred for this role due to client care requirements
