Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Duty Manager to oversee daily operations within our hospitality establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for guest service, and a background in hotel management. This role offers an exciting opportunity to ensure exceptional guest experiences while managing a diverse team in a fast-paced environment. Fluency in multiple languages or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to enhance communication with our international clientele. The Duty Manager will play a pivotal role in maintaining high standards of service, supervising staff, and supporting the overall success of the venue.

Duties

Oversee daily operational activities to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery
Lead and supervise front-of-house staff, providing guidance and support to uphold service excellence
Manage guest relations, addressing any concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction
Coordinate with food & beverage, and other departments to meet operational standards
Assist with human resources functions including staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies at all times
Handle administrative tasks such as reporting, inventory management, and cash handling
Support the management team in implementing organisational policies and procedures
Act as the point of contact during shifts for escalated guest issues or emergencies

Qualifications

Proven supervising experience within the hospitality industry, ideally in a high profile restaurant setting
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams effectively
Excellent guest service skills with a professional demeanour
Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly advantageous for communicating with international guests
Knowledge of human resources practices related to staffing, training, and employee relations
Experience in hospitality operations, including front desk management or guest services
Organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently under pressure
A proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution

This role is ideal for motivated professionals seeking to advance their career within the hospitality sector while delivering outstanding guest experiences.

Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
