Job Summary

Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Receptionist, where your energetic and welcoming attitude will set the tone for a positive patient experience. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, managing appointments, handling administrative tasks, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. Your proactive approach and excellent communication skills will help foster a friendly environment and support the delivery of exceptional dental care.

Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments efficiently using our practice management software.
Answer incoming phone calls promptly, providing accurate information and directing inquiries appropriately.
Collect and verify patient information, insurance details, and update records with precision.
Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
Coordinate with dental staff to facilitate smooth daily operations and patient flow.
Maintain a clean and organized reception area while adhering to confidentiality standards for patient information.
Liaising with dentists, nurses, and other team members to ensure the smooth running of the practice.
Maintaining a clean, organised, and professional reception area.
Assisting with administrative duties as required.

Requirements

Previous reception or customer service experience (dental or healthcare experience is desirable but not essential).
Excellent communication skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor that puts patients at ease.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in scheduling and record keeping.
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
Proficiency in using office software and practice management systems; familiarity with dental software is a plus.
Ability to work collaboratively with team members and adapt to changing priorities.
A friendly, professional, and compassionate approach to patient care.
Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work well as part of a team.
