Full job description

The Unitty Group provide property services to schools, commercial businesses and domestic customers across the West Midlands. Our services include roofing, building, property refurbishments, grounds maintenance and waste removals. We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable person to join our teams. The position is 3 month contract with the opportunity to become permanent at the end of the period.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a General Labourer (in the property maintenance sector). The successful candidate will assist with various manual tasks on building projects, property refurbishments and groundworks.

Duties:
- Perform general duties on various projects to include:

- Painting and decorating

- Grounds maintenance

- Assisting in large waste removal works

- Assisting Multi-Traders and Builders
- Assist with loading and unloading materials
- Clean and prepare work areas
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times
- Support the team with any other ad-hoc tasks as required

Skills:
- Physical fitness and stamina to handle manual labour tasks
- Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
- Health and safety awareness in a construction environment
- Strong work ethic and reliability

- Previous experience in a similar role preferred
- Valid CSCS card is advantageous

Job offer subject to clear DBS due to working in schools and hospitals
