Job Overview

We are seeking 4 motivated and detail-oriented Wallpapering Specialist to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying wallpaper with precision and craftsmanship, transforming spaces into visually stunning environments. Your expertise in surface preparation, pattern alignment, and finishing will ensure high-quality results that meet client expectations. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in construction painting and interior finishing while contributing to diverse projects.

Duties

Prepare walls and surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming to ensure optimal wallpaper adhesion
Measure and cut wallpaper accurately to fit designated areas, ensuring seamless pattern alignment
Apply wallpaper using appropriate techniques and tools, maintaining consistent tension and smoothness
Communicate effectively with team members and clients to clarify project details and address any concerns
Maintain a clean work environment by organizing materials and disposing of waste responsibly
Inspect finished work for quality, making adjustments as needed to achieve flawless results
Follow safety protocols at all times, including proper use of personal protective equipment

Skills

Proven experience in wallpapering or related construction painting roles
Strong driving skills for transporting materials and equipment to various job sites
Excellent communication skills in English to collaborate effectively with team members and clients
Knowledge of surface preparation techniques specific to wallpaper installation
Ability to interpret project plans, measurements, and instructions accurately
Attention to detail with a focus on precision and craftsmanship in finishing work
Physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and working at heights as required
