Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Housekeeper/Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in residential and commercial properties. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in their work and enjoy creating a welcoming environment for clients. Applicants should be organised, detail-oriented, and possess good communication skills. A valid driving licence is essential to facilitate travel between locations. We are a young business and for the right candidate who shows dedication and pride in their work there is potential for a supervisory role as the business grows.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces
Ensure all cleaning tasks meet company standards and client expectations
Maintain a tidy and organised work environment at all times
Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to the supervisor
Manage time efficiently to complete assigned tasks within scheduled hours
Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific requirements or preferences
Use cleaning equipment and products safely and responsibly
Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times

Skills

Good organisational skills with attention to detail
Strong communication skills in English to interact effectively with clients and team members
Customer service orientation with a friendly and professional demeanour
Ability to follow instructions accurately and work independently or as part of a team
Valid driving licence is advantageous for travelling between multiple locations
Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment operation is desirable but training will be provided
