Qualified Nursery Practitioner

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our friendly team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about early years education and committed to providing high-quality care and learning experiences for children.

About the Role

As a Qualified Nursery Practitioner, you will work within the nursery, supporting children of different ages and stages of development. You will help create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where every child can learn, develop, and thrive, between the hours of 8.00am-6.00pm.

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS framework.
Work flexibly across all nursery rooms as required.
Plan and deliver engaging activities that support children's learning and development.
Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Observe, assess, and record children's progress.
Ensure children's welfare is always safeguarded and promoted.
Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.
Follow nursery policies and procedures at all times.

Essential Requirements

A recognised Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
Good knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
A current Paediatric First Aid qualification (or willingness to obtain one).
Sound knowledge of safeguarding procedures and child protection responsibilities.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
A caring, reliable, and positive approach to supporting young children.
Full enhanced DBS certificate, registered on the update service.
