Full job description

Overview

We are seeking a proactive and organised Admin Assistant to support our office operations. This paid role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with office experience and strong administrative skills to contribute to a small but growing team. The successful candidate will play a vital part in maintaining efficient workflows, managing client communications, managin project management tools and ensuring the smooth running of daily administrative tasks between the team and clients.

Duties

Managing client inboxes in a professional manner and directing enquiries appropriately
Organising and maintaining files, records, and documentation in both physical and digital formats
Performing data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace
Assisting with scheduling appointments, meetings, and calendar management
Maintaining up to date details on our project management tool, and liaising with clients, printers and designers where needed
Supporting invoicing, billing reminders
Ensuring the organisation’s administrative procedures are followed efficiently and effectively

Qualifications

Proven office experience or administrative background
Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Drive)
Experience with project management tools is desirable
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally via phone and email
Attention to detail and organisational skills to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously
Previous experience in making amends to items in Mailerlite and SquareSpace is advantageous but not essential; a willingness to learn is important

This role offers an engaging environment where organisational excellence is valued. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, adaptable, and eager to support our team in delivering outstanding administrative support.

Min 15 hours per week, ideally Tuesday - Thursday, and based at our office in Hemel Hempstead. Salary is pro-rata.

Please be aware, we do sometimes have a dog (a friendly labrador!) in the office and we are also Mac based as a team.

Pay: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
