Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and versatile Barista/All Rounder to join our vibrant team. This role involves preparing high-quality beverages, providing excellent customer service, and assisting with various operational tasks within our busy family café. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering a welcoming experience and capable of multitasking efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This paid position offers an opportunity to develop your skills in food preparation, customer service, and café operations. We are Father and son run cafe that has been providing excellent customer service and food, whilst creating an amazing environment to work in especially if you love outdoor swimming. We’ve just had our reopening in our new built cafe and it has gone really well, so we are need of a skilled coffee maker, matcha maker and possibly smoothie maker kind and with a kind heart and welcoming attitude.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of highly quality hot and cold beverages in accordance with company standards.
Ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
Provide friendly and efficient service to customers, taking orders accurately and handling payments.
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and customer areas throughout shifts.
Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.
Support team members during busy periods by sharing responsibilities and maintaining a positive attitude.
Follow health and safety procedures diligently to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers.

Skills

Previous barista experience is highly essential.
Knowledge of food safety standards and practices.
Experience in serving customers with professionalism and courtesy.
Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods.
Strong organisational skills to keep work areas tidy and well-stocked.
Friendly demeanour with excellent communication skills to create a welcoming atmosphere for customers. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy working in a welcoming and lively environment and thrive on delivering exceptional service with a smile.

Pay: £12.50-£14.00 per hour
