We are looking for a passionate, experienced and motivated Deputy Manager to join our management team and help us continue to deliver outstanding care and support.

About the Role

As a Deputy Manager, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day management of the service, supporting the Service Manager to ensure high-quality, safe and effective care is delivered at all times.

You will lead by example, supporting and supervising the staff team while promoting a positive culture that enables the people we support to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting the day-to-day running of the service.
Providing leadership, supervision and support to Support Workers and Team Leaders.
Managing staffing rotas to ensure safe staffing levels are maintained.
Monitoring training compliance and supporting the development of staff.
Delivering on-the-job coaching, guidance and performance feedback.
Acting as a positive role model and promoting high standards of care.
Ensuring care documentation is accurate, person-centred and compliant.
Supporting recruitment, induction and probation of new employees.
Participating in the management on-call rota.
Working alongside the Service Manager to ensure the service meets CQC standards and company expectations.

About You

We are looking for someone who has previous experience supporting adults with complex needs and who is ready to develop their leadership career within a growing organisation.

The successful candidate will:

Hold a Level 3 Diploma (NVQ Level 3) in Health & Social Care as a minimum (or above).
Have previous experience working within adult social care.
Have experience supervising or leading staff teams.
Be organised with excellent communication, administration and IT skills.
Be confident managing rotas, staffing and day-to-day operational issues.
Be flexible and willing to work 12-hour shifts, including alternate weekends (one weekend on, one weekend off).
Be willing to participate in the management on-call rota.
Be passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
A full UK driving licence is desirable.
