Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and physically capable General Labourer to join our team. The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of manual tasks across construction, landscaping, and maintenance projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop practical skills in horticulture, gardening, and general site upkeep while contributing to diverse projects. The position is paid and suitable for individuals eager to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Assisting with landscape maintenance, including planting, trimming, and lawn care
Operating hand tools, power tools, and gardening equipment safely and efficiently
Supporting construction activities such as digging, lifting, and material handling
Using mechanical knowledge to maintain and troubleshoot equipment like excavators and irrigation systems
Assisting with site preparation, clean-up, and organisation of materials
Performing routine maintenance tasks on tools and machinery to ensure optimal operation
Supporting team members with various labour-intensive duties across different project sites

Skills

Experience or interest in landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture
Mechanical knowledge related to construction or gardening equipment
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and gardening implements
Ability to operate or learn how to operate an excavator or other heavy machinery safely
Knowledge of irrigation systems and basic maintenance procedures
Good organisational skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately
Physical fitness and stamina for manual labour tasks in outdoor environments
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
