Full job description

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Sales Support Administrator / Bookkeeper to join our long-standing, friendly team. This is a varied and hands-on role within a busy environment, supporting both sales operations and finance while helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the business.

Working Hours:
5 days a week (Monday to Friday)
Bank Holidays on a pro rata basis

Key Responsibilities:

Processing customer orders accurately and in a timely manner
Handling inbound sales calls and responding to customer enquiries
Updating and maintaining website sales information
Scheduling and booking deliveries and transport
Monitoring and maintaining stock levels
Liaising with suppliers to follow up on deliveries and payments
Overseeing finance processes, including:
Invoice processing
Bank reconciliations
VAT returns
Processing payments and expenses
Chasing overdue payments
Supporting the Directors
Managing your own workload and diary effectively
Adhering to company sales processes and completing any required training

Skills & Experience Required:

Strong administration and organisational skills
Previous experience in order processing and customer service
Bookkeeping or finance experience
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Good communication skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 GCSEs (A–C or equivalent), including Mathematics and English
