Overview

URGENTPOSITION

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of Destination.

Destination is a highly rated family run Indian restaurant in Slaithwaite, Huddersfield.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food preparation, food safety, and team management, ensuring that our restaurant runs smoothly while providing exceptional service to our guests. As a leader in the kitchen and dining area, you will be responsible for supervising staff, maintaining high standards of food production, and fostering a positive work environment. Knowledge of running the bar is also beneficial.

Salary: Negotiable as per experience.

Responsibilities

Manage daily restaurant and bar operations, ensuring efficient service and adherence to health and safety regulations.
Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels to ensure smooth operations.
Develop and implement menus that reflect current trends while meeting customer preferences.
Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure consistency and excellence in every dish served.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, striving for complete satisfaction.
Collaborate with the front-of-house team to create a cohesive dining experience for guests.
Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals, updates, and training opportunities.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar leadership role within the hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety standards, and culinary practices.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail in both kitchen operations and customer service.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with staff, customers, and suppliers.
A passion for the hospitality industry with a commitment to delivering high-quality dining experiences.
