Full job description

We are looking for a highly organised and motivated Office Administrator to join our office near Pontefract (WF8) This is a full-time, office-based role supporting the day-to-day operations of the business, and customer service functions. Must have experience with SAGE.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a professional telephone manner. You will play a key role in ensuring customer orders are processed efficiently and customers receive outstanding service.

Key Responsibilities:

Handling customer enquiries via phone and email

Providing excellent customer service and after-sales support

Producing invoices, dispatch notes, and other office documentation

Maintaining accurate customer and order records

Supporting sales administration and general office operations

Managing incoming calls and directing enquiries appropriately

Filing, scanning, and general administrative duties

Assisting management with ad-hoc office tasks and projects

Requirements:

Previous administration, office, or customer service experience preferred

Excellent telephone manner and communication skills

Strong organisational and multitasking abilities

Good IT skills including Microsoft Office and email systems

Experience using SAGE is absolutely necessary

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Positive attitude and willingness to learn
