Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining kitchen standards, and supporting the overall operation of the restaurant. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in food preparation and culinary arts to develop their skills within a professional environment.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with restaurant standards and recipes
Assist in the organisation and management of kitchen stations, ensuring smooth service delivery
Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness throughout the kitchen
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient meal preparation and presentation
Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management to reduce waste
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands
Support junior staff and provide training where necessary to uphold quality standards
Adhere to all health and safety regulations at all times

Experience

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a busy kitchen environment
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hygiene
Previous experience working in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly desirable
Competence in meal preparation, food presentation, and kitchen organisation
Familiarity with serving procedures and customer service principles is advantageous
