Job Summary

Slush Stop is looking for an enthusiastic, customer-focused team member to join us this season! If you love creating a buzz, bringing smiles to customers' faces, and thrive in a fast-paced, fun environment, we want to hear from you. You'll be serving up our range of ice-cold slushes and specialty drinks while keeping our stop running smoothly during busy periods. It's the perfect opportunity to build hands-on hospitality skills in a vibrant, high-energy setting.

What You'll Be Doing

Mixing and serving our full range of slushes, ice drinks, and specialty beverages to company standard
Following food safety and hygiene regulations at all times
Greeting customers with a smile, taking orders accurately, and handling payments through our POS system
Helping assemble snacks and light bites when needed
Keeping your workstation, equipment, and the customer area spotless throughout your shift
Keeping an eye on stock levels and flagging supplies to management before we run low
Following all health and safety policies
Handling customer questions or concerns with warmth and professionalism

What We're Looking For

Previous experience as a barista or in food service is a bonus, but not essential
An understanding of food safety and hygiene best practice
A friendly, efficient approach to customer service
Basic food prep skills for light meal assembly
Great organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks at once
Solid time management, especially when things get busy
Comfortable handling cash and basic maths for transactions
A team player who enjoys a fast-paced atmosphere

This is a great seasonal opportunity to gain hospitality experience, learn new skills, and be part of a friendly team — all while helping customers beat the heat (or warm up, depending on your slush!) one cup at a time.

Pay: From £8.30 per hour
