About Us
Join the team at Larkhall Circuit International, Scotland’s premier karting facility! As the country’s longest and only FIA-approved karting circuit, we pride ourselves on delivering an unparalleled motorsport experience. Our 1140m technical circuit combined with a dedication to excellent customer service, makes us a leader in the world of karting.

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Part-Time Kart Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for motorsports and a strong background in kart or vehicle mechanics. You will be responsible for ensuring our rental kart fleet is in optimal working condition, providing a safe and enjoyable experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

Conduct preventative maintenance according to a service plan on karts.
Identify mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs efficiently.
Maintain accurate electronic records of repairs and maintenance performed on each kart.

Requirements

Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably with rental or race karts. Similar relevant experience considered.
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including engines, brakes and all chassis components.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues effectively.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
The role is part-time, working pattern and hours to be agreed with the candidate.
A valid driving licence is preferred.
