Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Ceiling Fixer/Dry Liner to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing ceilings and drywall linings with precision and efficiency, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet safety standards and client specifications. Your expertise will contribute to creating durable, aesthetically pleasing interior spaces for a variety of commercial and residential projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, demonstrating your craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Duties

Measure, cut, and install ceiling panels and drywall linings using hand tools and power tools
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary adhesives or fasteners
Follow schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation
Use welding, masonry, carpentry, and plastering skills as needed for framing or finishing touches
Collaborate with other trades such as plumbing, electrical, roofing, and fabrication teams to coordinate work seamlessly
Maintain a clean workspace by removing debris and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
Conduct quality checks throughout the installation process to ensure durability and finish standards are met

Requirements

Proven experience in drywall installation, ceiling fixing, or related construction roles
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding equipment, and fabrication techniques
Knowledge of schematics, technical drawings, and construction plans
Familiarity with roofing, plumbing, welding, electrical systems, masonry, and construction painting is a plus
Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical schematics accurately
Strong understanding of safety procedures and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Construction experience across various trades including carpentry and plastering is highly desirable
