We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our establishment, ensuring exceptional service and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. This position is perfect for individuals with a passion for hospitality and a strong background in food preparation and team management.

Responsibilities

Assist in overseeing daily operations, ensuring smooth functioning of the restaurant or hospitality venue.
Supervise and train staff, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.
Manage food preparation and production processes, adhering to safety and quality standards.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in all areas of the kitchen and dining space.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction.
Assist with inventory management, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels.
Collaborate with the management team to implement new policies and procedures aimed at improving efficiency.

Skills

Proven experience in overseeing food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations.
Strong supervisory experience with demonstrated team management skills.
Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is essential; culinary experience is highly desirable.
Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations to ensure compliance within the kitchen environment.
Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
Experience in serving customers effectively, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with barista duties would be an advantage.
