Overview

We are seeking friendly and professional Waitress/Waiter/Bar Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver exceptional guest service in a lively restaurant and bar environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. Previous experience in a similar setting is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided. All positions are paid, including internships, with opportunities for career development within our establishment.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and ensure they feel comfortable throughout their visit
Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system or manually when required
Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
Provide excellent guest service by answering questions about menu items and making recommendations
Upsell additional items to maximise sales opportunities in a friendly manner
Ensure food safety standards are adhered to during food preparation and serving processes
Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the service area
Handle payments accurately, including cash and card transactions, and provide correct change where applicable
Maintain cleanliness of tables, bar areas, and workstations according to health and safety regulations
Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for all new staff
Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is desirable
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour
Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
Basic mathematical skills for handling transactions accurately
Experience with kitchen operations or culinary arts is advantageous but not mandatory
Ability to remain professional under pressure during busy service hours

Pay: £12.71-£18.21 per hour
