Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and organised Part Time Office Assistant to support our administrative team. The working hours are Monday 9-5pm, Wednesday 9-5pm and Friday 9-4pm. This role is ideal for individuals with a keen eye for detail, excellent organisational skills, and proficiency in various office software. The successful candidate will play a vital part in maintaining smooth office operations, handling data entry, and providing exceptional support to staff and clients. This position offers flexible hours suitable for those looking to gain experience in an administrative environment while balancing other commitments.

Responsibilities

Providing general administrative support including filing, photocopying, and scanning documents
Managing incoming calls with professional phone etiquette and directing enquiries appropriately
Organising schedules, appointments, and meetings to ensure efficient workflow
Maintaining accurate records and updating databases regularly
Supporting team members with clerical tasks such as preparing correspondence and reports
Ensuring the office environment remains tidy and organised at all times

Experience

Previous office experience is essential; training will be provided for all necessary software tools
Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar)
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Excellent typing speed and accuracy for data entry tasks
Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally via phone and email
Basic administrative or clerical experience is desirable but not mandatory; a proactive attitude and willingness to learn are essential
